Located in Summerville and only fifteen minutes from Charleston, Craft Happy works through programming to bring crafty people together to learn and to create. At Craft Happy, our mission is to educate people about do-it-yourself projects and hand-crafting skills, while creating a friendly, laid-back place for artistic exploration and personal betterment. We also will be available for private parties (baby showers, birthdays, wedding showers, etc.). Pricing available upon request.

Craft Happy Summerville Sewing Classes, Summerville Knitting Classes, Jewelry Making and more.

  • Sewing 101: Learn how to sew- Yes, YOU! Our Sewing 101 class teaches you how to sew your very own clutch purse. All sewing materials are included and no prior sewing experience needed!
  • Knitting 101: This knitting class will cover the basics, and a cute earwarmer will be yours to take home. All knitting materials are included and no experience needed!
  • After Class Crafts: Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons, this after school class does fun, easy craft projects that vary weekly. Ages 8 and up are welcome, all materials included and no experience is needed!
  • Family Craft: Make something special with your little ones every Sunday afternoon; join us and create something together! All ages welcome.
  • Craft Happy Hour: Every Friday night, join us and unwind while making something fun, practical, and easy. Craft projects vary, all materials are included and no experience needed! 21 & up only, please.
  • Private Parties! Looking for a way to make your birthday, shower, or girls' night out the most fun event in town? Let Craft Happy supply the space and the project for you and your guests! Contact us for availability.
  • Kids Sewing & Kids Knitting: Ages 8 & up, these classes are just for you! Learn to sew or knit in these small classes. No experience needed & all materials supplied!
  • Get to Know Your Sewing Machine: If there is a sewing machine sitting at your house, unused & ignored, then this is the class for you! Learn the basics on your own machine- everything from how to thread it to sewing different stitches.
  • Amy Butler Tunic Class: Join us for this multi-session class & learn how to read a pattern while making an adorable Amy Butler shirt! 8 total hours of instruction, the Amy Butler pattern & all sewing notions are here for you- you just provide the fabric!
  • Jewelry 101: Learn how to make the latest trends in necklaces and earrings here! All jewelry-making materials included, no experience needed!
  • Crochet 101: Join us and make fab little animals in this class. All materials included, no experience needed!
  • Mom & Daughter Sew: Moms & daughters, you are invited to come to class together! Make your own set of cloth napkins & a potholder to take home with you. All ages are welcome, but little ones must be at least 8 in order to participate, & some sewing experience is recommended.
  • Applique Class: Create your own fabulous potholder while learning the skill of applique in this class! Previous sewing experience is recommended for this class. All materials are provided.
  • Jewelry 102: Know the basics of beadwork? Take it to the next level in this class as we create jewelry pendants using wire.
  • Knitting 102: Learn how to make a cable scarf in this fun class! If you already know how to knit & purl, cabling is a beautiful way to add dimension to your projects- join us!
  • Open Studio Time: Don't have your own sewing machine or work table? Come use ours! Spots are available weekly.
  • Private Lessons: Looking to get some one-on-one time with a craft project? Fridays are just for you- check out our calendar!
